The rosehips in the Rosehip Salve were gently, and responsibly harvested with the highest respect, intention, and ethics from the rose bushes that grow wild in the mountains. The wild rose bushes grow near a natural spring to around 5 - 6 feet tall in tangles with one another under a canopy of tall mountain Pines, Junipers, and Firs that house a wide array of beautifully colored birds that fill the air with song in harmony with the flowing creek from the spring. An intimate connection to the earth generally looks like an abundance of time walking, taking in the smells, noises, and sights, and learning details about what grows where and the growing patterns. This process is slow, purposeful, mindful, and healing for the mind and heart. Out of this deep love came a yearning to share a part of the beauty and healing abundance with others.
